The days are getting shorter, and the mornings are crisp and clear. There are just a little over two weeks left of the season – a season where, thankfully, we’ve managed to turn around the downward trend in salmon catches. So far, 699 salmon have been caught on rod in the Skjern River – that’s a 20% improvement compared to last year, and a result we can happily carry with us into the winter months, along with the anticipation for the coming season.
