Here are the quota regulations for Skjern Å 2026 – straight from SÅS.
Exciting times ahead ❤️🎣
As many of you already know, the 2026 quota for retention in the Skjern River is 130 salmon measuring 73 cm or less, and 90 salmon over 73 cm.
It is once again fantastic news that we have been given the opportunity to retain a suitable quota of our amazing salmon.
The quota is divided by SÅS into three equal parts, effective from April 16, June 16, and August 16, each including 30 salmon over 73 cm and 43–44 smaller salmon.
As before, 10% of the large-salmon quota from the first period (starting April 16) is reserved for Vorgod Å upstream of the railway, Omme Å upstream of Vester Ringvej, and Skjern Å upstream of Tarp Bridge.
Within a couple of weeks at the latest, all information will be updated on the SÅS website.
